We went to see this film in the cold and snow.
The manager had not turned on the heating in the cinema to save money.
He got in trouble for it later.
So, we got to the later scenes in the blowing wastes of snowland, while huddling under our own coats to keep warm and the movie was not helping us in this regard.
Beyond that, I really liked it as a film.
Patrick Troughton made a guest appearance, which, as a Doctor Who fan at the time, was a treat.
Dave Prowse was also present as the Minotaur creature.
Little did we realise what the future held in store for him - and for us.
This, along with the later Clash of the Titans, were the last dying gasps for the stop motion animation form of film-making, as it would be used less and less from that point on.
A great, fun film nonetheless, from a more charming, if colder, era of cinema.
