I think that the heavy handed editing pulled me out of this one, and I couldn't get back into the film.

A moment of tension? I know, let's cut to a rodeo!

Chop, chop, chop, cut, cut, cut.

It was as if the scenes were afraid to settle, as if the director was terrified of boring his audience.

I could swear that Edward Scissorhands had been let loose in the editing room. :emoji_alien:

It might be interesting for a totally re-edited version to be created, using the original film elements?

I believe the writers strike had an effect on this. I've seen it twice now and still don't really have any idea what's happening. It feels like they filmed all the action scenes and then the writers strike hit, leaving them without any exposition scenes so they just edited together what they had and hoped no one noticed.
