You can't hate this movie. It is a physical impossibility. Everyone is perfectly cast, and it is, by way of mathematical statistics, Jon Cryer's best film.
Well, hate is such a strong word, but I didn't like it. It just didn't work for me.
I did like Some Kind of Wonderful.

There are two kinds of people. Those who like PRETTY IN PINK, and those who are wrong. 
I can see how someone could not like it. The plot is borrowed, obviously, from many other similar stories. No harm, no foul. I too like SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL, so there we are.

I can never decide which I like best, this, or Some kind of wonderful, the dance scene with ducky in the record shop is brilliant and probably gives pip the lead
