Everytime I watch this movie I get Bye, Bye, Blackbird stuck in my head. Also can someone tell me where the real Melvin Dummar is at in the movie? I would still would love to see a update on this will using today's technology and seeing if it is real or fake.

The real Melvin makes a brief appearance behind the bus station lunch counter.
Thanks HPD for championing this sweet, under-appreciated film. Demme should be remembered for more than just SOTL and PHILADELPHIA.
