Loved this back in the eighties repeat season as I never liked it as a kid! It was clever how Regan and Haskins, his boss, disliked each other intensely in the early shows but by the end of the run had become staunch friends! Good how some villains returned for another episode unlike most cop shows in the day too! John Thaw and Dennis Waterman had good charisma and I think became great mates during production but drifted off after it's end I understand! Violence and a lot of sexy actresses make this one a winner!
