A fun, enjoyable romp though I find it hard to believe they would EVER re-open a theme park associated with such countless death and chaos.

I didn't really find that too unbelievable. What I did find unbelievable was the idea that a zoo full of dinosaurs would find it so hard to keep customer levels high that they would need to invent a new dinosaur.

A macgyver Dino vs badly acted stereotype characters and dinos that were almost tipping their invisible hats to each other.
I hated it.

Judged purely on its own merits, I thought this was an exciting blockbuster with superb visual effects and a cracking pace. The writers do well to find a way to hark back to the classic first film, too. The plot is fairly basic though, but I found the characters engaging and the visuals pretty impressive.
