I actually found myself enjoying this film more than I probably should have. But I chalk that up to being a big fan of Ms. Curtis. Pre-meltdown Lohan isn't bad in this - probably better than she was in most films - but even then, it baffles me that she was such a cinema draw. Sure, at one point she wasn't bad to look at, but she has never been a great actress.

Probably one of the few remakes that I liked just as much as the original (though the 1995 version is my favorite, and I haven't seen the 1978 version in years).
