My advice is watch the videos on Youtube on what not to do or ask. I have always believed saying "Please and Thank You". Mind your manners, Be Respectful, Don't be rude, or Pushy. Maybe research your questions? This way you can ask something better then the same old questions the celebrities have been asked hundreds of times. That's my views.

I know what you mean. Some questions can be cringeworthy. One panel was asked to all hum the theme tune to the series that they were in. They slowly and dutifully did so, like trained animals singing for their supper. It was painful to watch.
Noticed alot of panel videos have the same questions over and over again. I sit there going come on think of something new. Read up and watch before you say anything that has been asked. Walking Dead panels are the latest cringe worthy ones for me at the moment.

I met Colin "Doctor Who" Baker.
He had strong views on the new version of the show, feeling that it was all getting too complicated. Peter Purves, who was on the show in the 1960's agreed with him.
Somebody in the audience made the mistake of asking him who his favourite Doctor was. He declined to answer, saying he disagreed with polls, because somebody has to end up on the bottom. "Usually me!" he added. Peter Purves said that his favourite was William Hartnell, adding with good humour that he was sat next to the least popular Doctor ever, "without exception!" Even Colin smiled at that.
When getting his signed photo shortly after the panel, I suggested to him that he might come back to the show as an older version of a character called Maxil, that he guest starred as before he became the Doctor.
He said: "I would love to! It'll never happen though!"

I'm a fan of Michael Rooker fan so Season 3 Episode 15 - This Sorrowful Life.
As far as famous people go I just don't bug them online. They don't have conventions in my area. They have one but it's slowly building up, but still just small comic stuff. I don't like having to drive 2 hours to the city, then fight for parking, and etc. I would like to go to Lexicon or a Horror Con one of these days. Even any con where the place is attached to a hotel making it easier to attend.
I just figured celebs just like to be treated like normal folks, and like good questions. I'm one of these people that would ask a good question just to stump them. Plus I was always raised to be nice to people and hold open doors. I like showing everyone around me respect. It doesn't matter who you are, or what you do. I will treat everyone the same. That's just me is all. Only famous people I've ever met was bands like Mushroom Head and Dope. I kinda got away from the concert scene past few years.

What has a celebrity done for you? It can be anything from writing back to you on social media, or a wrote a real letter. Just hung out with you and just talked one on one, or even gave you free tickets to a show.
Everyone famous I have ever meet have been in rock and metal bands. Most were playing the clubs around here. Most ended up hanging with the fans at the end of the night, and till the clubs closed. Dope, Mushroomhead, etc. Plus they were drunk, and drinking any free drinks the fans were buying them.
So does anyone else have a story to tell???????

I've never really met any celebrities. But at an American Head Charge show, Chris Emery (the drummer) came to the front of the stage of the club we were at and shook everyone's hand that came up and apologized about how the show went and was just the coolest guy. He was so humble, and was gracious when we said they had sounded good. Earlier that night, I met the lead singer and bassist of Blue Felix (one of the opening acts) after their set, and I got a big, sweaty hug from the singer. Those guys are fooking crazy onstage!
I also have met Senator Tom Harkin. Class act, that guy.
My best friend knows Corey Taylor, and has been to his house a few times. Apparently, he's really down to earth, and a cool guy. But I guess his ex-wife was a real bitch.

This was what I always thought was a family tall tale. When I heard it as a kid I thought no way, and this has to be made up story. The story was Conway Twitty came over to my great, great, aunt's house for bean soup and cornbread. The story ended up being true.

While talking to Conway, ‘Mamo’ told him she was going home to eat soup beans. Conway responded by noting it had been a long time since he had had any beans. Maggie invited him to come on down. About an hour later a giant bus pulled up in front of Mamo’s house. Out walked Conway. “Miss Maggie, I came for your beans and cornbread,” he stated. After eating they took lots of pictures. Well...James Garner shook my hand when I approached him when he was sitting down during a Rockford Files filming day. He could have objected because, after all, I wasn't in the show, but he was gracious so I remember it.

I met both Ray Harryhausen and Forrest J. Ackerman at the Scala cinema in London in, I believe 1991. It was an all day horror event, complete with a screening of famous and obscure horror films, including The Bride of Frankenstein.
Two very nice gentlemen, now both sadly no longer with us. And I believe they have knocked the cinema down too now.

That is, unfortunately, a sad postscript to that story. I understand that modern cinemas are necessary in this day and age, but I love the old theatres.
I met Emily Perkins(Brigitte from Ginger Snaps) at a Belgian film festival. She was a very lovely person.
At a Rob Zombie concert, he went into the crowd, and eventually stood on a chair right in front of me for about 25 seconds. So no, I did not meet him, but it was a very awesome moment.

One of the things I love seeing with celebrities is when they share fan stuff. I'm taking fan art, videos, photo's them, gif's, etc. I always think that stuff is pretty cool. It shows that the person cares enough for the fandom. I wish more would do it. Rooker and Reedus are good ones for sharing fan stuff.
Thats what I like about Critical Role(D&D show on Geek and Sundry). Sure, they are voice actors and thus not big celebrities, but these guys are always sharing fan art. Also, during the brake on their show, they always show all the art send to them over the week.
