Teaser: Roberts, Hedges In “Ben Is Back”
The new teaser trailer is out for “Ben Is Back,” the new feature from “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” novelist Peter Hedges.
Julia Roberts and Hedges son and “Manchester By the Sea” breakout star Lucas Hedges lead the film in which a young man returns home to his unsuspecting family one fateful Christmas Eve.
His wary mother welcomes her beloved son’s return, but soon learns he is still very much in harm’s way. During the 24 hours that may change their lives forever, Holly must do everything in her power to avoid the family’s downfall.
Nina Jacobson, Teddy Schwarzman and Brad Simpson produce the film which opens December 7th.
