Hi i thought I would create a thread here as it seems to be the best fit but I not sure what to make of her. I kind of like her but don't trust that she is a good guy.

I like her. But there's gonna be drama. They set that up in the episode where they went back to Russia. She was disturbed by the fact that Oliver went all thug on that fellow, after he gave her the speech about being better than that.

Haven't seen much of her in action yet and she's yet to wear the costume. Based on what I've seen so far I think I'll like her. If getting Laurel back wasn't an option this isn't the worst choice they could have made. I like that they've gone with Dinah Drake as her name in a nod to the original Black Canary from the comics.

I thought the way they ended the Flash finale hit me hard. This finale hurts. How do you end the season like that? So good, but the wait till October is going to drive me crazy!

Good ending. You know not everyone got off the island safely. There will be casualties.
Do you follow this show with any other group? I lurk at a really good discussion group
if you're interested I'll send you a link...

True, but as one reviewer on YouTube pointed out, the jail cell area was built to withstand a nuclear blast, so Slade probably saved most of them. My bet is on William's mom or Felicity dying. Send me the link, I'm always game to discuss the CW DC shows.

I'm going on how the show's writers like to foreshadow things. William's mom has only ever been in a few episodes, so she is, in a writer's eye, disposable. And with the burgeoning rekindle of Olicity (have I ever mentioned how much I hate shipper names, much less shippers), that could be one of those "Hey, look, they're going to get back togeth...um, nope, she's dead" sort of moves.

She's a main player. Has there been any talk of Emily leaving? I'm not a "shipper", but I do wish they
(the writers) would figure out what to do about the two of them. This on again, off again is getting real old.

“Arrow” Season Seven Plans Already Forming

The CW’s “Arrow” is about to begin its sixth season this Fall on The CW, and show producer Marc Guggenheim revealed at the Television Critics Association this week that the writers already have plans for a seventh season in mind.

The fifth season ended on a cliffhanger which saw the mysterious island of Lian Yu effectively blown up with the fate of much of the show’s main cast in question. Guggenheim says the new season will explore its after effects:

“We didn’t kill off everyone except for Oliver and one person. He still will have a team. The question is what is the composition of that team and how are they all affected by the trauma of what happened at the end of last year. For us, it’s more than a binary thing of who lives and who dies. There are consequences that we’re also playing around with as a result.”

Having mapped it so well out already, this has led to them thinking ahead to what happens next year:

“We’ve already started talking about ooh, we have a shape for season seven already. This is the earliest we’ve ever had an idea for a season that far ahead, but it’s come out of our conversations about season six.”

Of course, there’s the other lingering question – a series finale. Guggenheim says when the time does come, it will not require long-term planning to deliver the ending they have in mind:.

“I think we’ve always had an endpoint in mind. We’ve always known how we want to end the show. That end point doesn’t require X number of seasons. If we had to, we could work towards it as long as we knew with enough leeway, we could work towards the moment we’ve been talking about since day one.”

It has also been announced that Sydelle Noel has scored a recurring role in the sixth season as Samanda Watson, an FBI agent who will be investigating Oliver Queen’s connection to the Green Arrow. “Arrow” moves to Thursdays this Fall with the show returning October 12th on The CW.

Liam Hall Is Deathstroke’s Son In “Arrow”

Liam Hall (“Lucifer,” “Camp”) is set to play the son of Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) in the upcoming sixth season of “Arrow” on The CW.

In the series, he is Joe Wilson, a young man who joined the secret Australian military agency A.S.I.S. and is now trapped in a remote Kasnian prison under the name Kane Wolfman where he is fighting for his life.

The fifth season finale saw Oliver (Stephen Amell) reveal he had information on Joe. It’s also been confirmed the new season will include a two-parter with flashbacks to Slade’s past.

“Arrow” will move to Thursday nights with the sixth season premiere on October 12th.

Really liked the season six opener, but one thing pisses me off.
Merlyn took Thea's place on the landmine to save her and perform one last actual act of bravery and kindness. Them killing off Thea (well, she's in a coma, but from what I've heard, they're getting rid of her) negates that sacrifice. It makes it a hollow act, which has no real weight to it.
That being said, I dug everything else in the episode. The unease of William toward Oliver will make for an interesting dynamic. And now that
Ollie has been outed as the Green Arrow
, things are just going to get more interesting.

Colton Haynes Returns For “Arrow” Arc

Colton Haynes will reprise his role as Roy Harper, a.k.a. Arsenal, for a short arc on The CW’s “Arrow” beginning with the sixth season’s 15th episode.

The short visit will offer “something surprising when he reunites with Thea [Willa Holland] and sparks a change in both of their lives that will have long-lasting consequences”.

Haynes first appeared as a recurring star in the show’s debut season before becoming a series regular for the second and third. He previously returned during the fourth season for a single episode.

Excellent news. I've always been a fan of his performace as Roy and was disappointed when he left the show.
