One of the greats, although Mads has given him a run for his money, I feel, in the Hannibal stakes.
Thought he has been great in so many roles, such as THE BOUNTY, MAGIC, and more recently in the WESTWORLD tv series...

Brilliant actor, though I sometimes fear his best work may now be behind him. He's always been excellent whether in big, mainstream films, or smaller and more eccentric things, such as his offbeat personification of Cambridge spy Anthony Burgess in the seldom-seen UK telefilm Blunt:The Fourth Man ; I'd have given a lot to see him onstage--his portrayal of Titus Andronicus in the Julie Taymore film was so incredible I can only imagine what seeing him in live performance in such a role might have been like.
Great actor, funny, creepy, and always fun to watch.
