Your thoughts on this movie.....

200 years after her death, Ellen Ripley is revived as a powerful human/alien hybrid clone who must continue her battle against the aliens. Along with a crew of space pirates, Ripley must also prevent the deadly aliens from reaching Earth.

Back to the previous movie....

ALIEN 3.....

I've always enjoyed this one. It's interesting looking back now at what are obviously Joss Whedon's first draft of the Firefly crew.

Disaster! Not one single likable character, including Ripley. While most people hate Alien 3, I thought Resurrection was the turkey in the franchise.

To be honest, I am not sure what to make of Alien Resurrection, in retrospect.

It just seems to have ended up as one huge, big fat footnote in the Alien saga.

After the lukewarm reception of Covenant, the Alien Franchise is in flux.....

Rumours are of a post-Resurrection timeline.....

If the franchise continues with a new timeline, set after this movie, will lip service even be paid to the events of this film? Or would we, perhaps, even see the return of Ripley 8?

Or do you think that Fox will quietly forget that this entire movie even happened?

And would you rather it never have happened yourself?
