When it had been announced that Ledger would be playing The Joker, I was pretty upset, because all I knew about the guy was that he was some teen heartthrob. We went out and rented as bunch of his movies - this one included - and I realized that he was actually a damned fine actor. This movie, in particular, is actually pretty brilliant for rom-com fodder. Not only do they modernize one of Shakespeare's best works, but the cast is enjoyable, and Ledger is really great. This is one that I would recommend to anyone.
