    Fun Three Destructions of Atlantis?

I may have this wrong but wasn't the Atlantis of The Underwater Menace already under the sea? The big plan of the villain, Zaroff was to raise it from the sea bed. So The Underwater Menace and Time Monster are not contradictory.

    Fun Edith Keeler MUST Die?

Edith Keeler vanishing would have started conspiracy theories. Did the US government kidnap her because of her pacifist views ? Her group could have rioted and therefore gained sympathy for their anti war policies. " Government Scared of Edith Keeler. Did they get rid of her?" newspaper...

Review DISCUSSION- CATWEAZLE: "THE SUN IN A BOTTLE" - Episode 01

Sadly all the regulars from both series are deceased, Moray Watson and Elspet Gray from series 2 most recently. The only exception is Gary Warren, Cedric , is still around.

Review DISCUSSION- CATWEAZLE: THE TELLING BONE - Episode 07

Carpenter throughout the series leaves it open as to whether Catweazle has real power or not. Carrot of course doesn't believe a word of it, but Carpenter doesn't allow him to disprove magic. So even if magic is real here , it's a new interpretation given to the show, proving the premise has...

Review DISCUSSION- CATWEAZLE: THE TELLING BONE - Episode 07

And why did the prison authorities employ someone who calls his cats Spencer Tracey and Shirley Temple ? If you think that's a puzzle, wait until Marty Hopkirk turns up, alive three years after R+H!

Review DISCUSSION- CATWEAZLE: THE TELLING BONE - Episode 07

The " Verbose Critic's " fatal flaw theory is predicated on the assumption that magic is real and Carpenter didn't follow that through. Anyone knowing of Classic Who can come up with an alternative. As Pertwee's Doctor points out in The Daemons, the magic gobbledygook and incantations are...

Review Mr Bester ( Walter Koenig)

The B7 link is to do with season to season arcs and season cliff-hangers. There's some in-jokes using planet names and ship designs that may be a nod to B7. The alien life forms are well realized and a properly drawn characters, and series 4 has the Babylon 5 station take on Earth forces in a...

Review Mr Bester ( Walter Koenig)

We both like Who and B7, but I think you maybe haven't seen this, it's worth trying. The first season is a bit hit and miss, an introduction to the real meaty stuff to come, but a terrific show.

    Review Budgie (1971)

DVDs are available. I saw the boxset last about a year ago, it was a choice between buying it or Public Eye with Alfred Burke. I chose the latter. Both series are good, but Public Eye is brilliant, recommend. https://www.imdforums.com/threads/public-eye.2083/

    Review The Secret Service

Stanley Unwin's routine was well known, Gerry Anderson 's idea of using it in a spy show was either inspired or dumb, not sure which. Here is Unwin telling the story of Goldilopper and the three bearloaders.

    Review The Secret Service

The final Gerry Anderson tv show with puppets until Terrahawks. The Secret Service is either regarded as a hidden gem, or a rare Anderson flop. Comedian Stanley Unwin stars in the flesh, and voices a puppet of himself in a weird mix of live action and supermarionation. 13 episodes about a...
