You rate the Talisman so low, but Black house so much higher, I loved the Talisman, and whilst I enjoyed Black house, it was not, for me, as good as the first book. The Talisman is something I would love to be turned into a miniseries, although I think the only people who could do it justice...

I have just read that Adam West, imho, THE Batman, has passed away after a shot battle with Leukaemia. If someone mentions Batman, he is the one I think of, the Batman that I grew up watching. Sure, in retrospect, if looks corny now, but, as a young boy growing up, I loved the show. Then again...
