Thanks Tuco ! I guess one could answer that guy that the "appeal" of imdb having its own forum for every movie wasn't worth it after all, look how imdb has done with that idea !! They are closing the boards!! clearly it wasn't doable in the long run, not like that.

It's more of both things. Since the forum never generated any revenue because they didn't saw how to do it they left it there to rot, for years and now they just won't handle all that load. Right now they seem to have reduce the ammount of power they gave to the servers hosting the forum...

Yes, the imdb way is the "oldie" way and forums had evolved so much since then... in fact, it's one of the reasons they are closing. They couldn't improve the system and it grow way out of their hands, they just leave it there to grow exponentially without adding new features in years...

Nothing, they just announced in a FAQ that not only will they disable the forums, they will completely remove them from view. So, they are pratically trashing everything. At this point, they just boycotted their own 17 years board and people will finish tearing it apart in the coming days so...

I still didn't touch anything related to images. I'll get more into that as soon as I finish other pressing matters, such as the forum layout and a way to display all the forums at once more easily.

And another important factor: Insert image is gonna be hosted elsewhere. Upload a File is gonna be hosted inside the forum.

Here, its like a tabloid where you can put anything you want for people to read when they enter :)

I see, what you want is a 2-block part so you can stick the image to the left with text floating on the right. It is doable but I need to create a custom button with CSS code to adapt to what you're asking. If you put this into a request in this subforum, with your example, I'll do it tomorrow.

How so, if you explain in more detail what are you trying to do I may be able to fix it for you so it looks appropiate.
