I sketch in charcoal for a few hours, once every few years. I chastise myself for not doing it more, because I do enjoy it. But as to paints, I haven't touched those since college, some 40 years ago.

How about you, @BradyBunchFan ? Do you spend a lot of time painting? What are some of your favorite tools? Favorite subjects?

Best tool #2 soft lead pencil with a nice soft eraser. Mediums I use (acrylic, enamels, & spray), paint, ink, fiberglass, charcoal, chalks, & clay. Did some wood burning years ago. I craft and can build anything I put my mind to. I'm always surprised where some of this comes from. I like to draw mostly cartoons, album art, or evil stuff. I have to draw something fancy drawing or painting I can do that as well.

I painted this few years back. I need to cut it down a bit so I can frame it. It's pretty big.
The Death Dealer was started by my brother in law's dad. He did somewhat a outline, never finishing it. My sister gave it to me it was pretty bad the outline was. It needed to be redrawn better, evened out, and needed lots of work. I redrew the horse, axe, shield, shading, etc. and made the figure better. Painted it all, after 20 years of sitting in a garage it's done now. BTW This painting is 4 feet tall and close to that in lenght.

This is some of my school stuff.

Michale Graves, he was the singer of the Misfits at that time. This is done with conte and some red paint.

And Marilyn Manson. I have so many Manson drawings, its like all I did :) This was done with very expensive markers. This was an assignment for graphic school. We were only allowed to use a grey marker.

Im going to search for some other stuff I did as a teen.

I guess my images will disappear soon, because photobucket has decided that you should pay about 500 a year for third party hosting. Im so not going to do that.

I try but have had to battle a severe block. The last few years haven't been conducive to the effort.

testing...

Ah, success! Ballpoint pen sketch of Carole Ann Ford (Susan on Doctor Who).

I forget the dimensions, but that's a but larger than legal pad size, done in mechanical pencil (.3 mm)

Ballpoint pen, Rinko from A Snake of June - an experiment to see if I could do rain, but I made the wrong choice of going from the beginning of the scene before her hair is wet.

Watercolor pencils. I wanted to express my exact feelings of horror and dismay at living under Trump's America. I trust you sci-fi, horror, and just plain movie buffs will recognize the pop culture reference!

A very personal piece. 18" x 24", crayon and enamel on masonite. That's me and mom in the hospital in the hour before I lost her. Last October. She had her favorite Biederlack comforter blanket in a red and white hearts pattern.
