Currently watching Stranger Things, season 2. Also, catching up with Time After Time. The two hour pilot basically follows the original movie. Not great, but not as bad as some of the reviews I have read.
Given that it returned $683,428,183 from a $35,000,000 budget, there was no doubt that part 2 would be announced. Part 1 was terrific. If they can keep that momentum going, then roll on 2019.
Last movie watched at the cinema was Happy Death Day. It was OK. The Groundhog Day factor added an unusual context to the movie.
Watched Star Trek II The Wrath Of Khan on dvd last night. It still kicks ass, one of the best Star Trek cinema efforts.
I enjoyed Kong: Skull Island. It was an entertaining two hours. The one issue I did have, I had the same issue with the '76 remake. Why does Kong walk like a human and not an ape?
I had no interest in Michael's backstory. And changing his family from what appeared to be a middle class family to a white trash abusive household just ruined it for me.

The Terminator reboot has been cancelled. Paramount have no plan to re-visit the franchise. However, that might change, in 2019, when the writes revert back to James Cameron.

Firefly: clearly one if the best sci-fi series to hit television.
