Actually, I've got a pile of DOCTOR WHO comics in the cupboard in the spare room. They're sitting next to all the DOCTOR WHO annuals I've got from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Not to mention all the Target novels from the Classic Who TV series and numerous other books, calendars, jigsaws and so on and so forth.

My mum knitted me one back in 1978...

She completed it on Christmas day, at my grandmother's place in outback Queensland.

It was 35C - 95F - outside, but that didn't stop me from riding a couple of miles up the road to show my dad.

He was having a couple of refreshing ales at his best friend's pub and having a quiet yarn with a few mates.

I’m slightly surprised they didn’t try to cash in on Billy Elliot, and doubt they could have resisted the cliche of the Doctor or another male character clad in female ballet attire.

I’m more surprised they never did a musical episode yet. Especially a Bollywood episode. (two DW authors once pitched a Bollywood one to Big Finish, but at least BF have done a couple of musical ones.)
